I’m Carlos Castel, a Principal and/or UX/UI Lead Designer, with a strong background and a passion for building thoughtful, scalable, and beautifully crafted digital experiences.
Over 20 years, I’ve led design teams and large-scale projects across SaaS platforms, mobile apps, and browser extensions. I specialize in Design Systems, multi-platform UX/UI, and shaping user experiences that balance business needs with real user value.
As a UX Lead, I’ve helped guide teams through complex product challenges, mentored junior designers, and fostered collaboration between design, development, and product stakeholders. I believe in process, but also in flexibility—knowing when to follow the rules and when to break them to make something better.
Outside of work, I’m always creating—photography, music composition & singing, and drawing are my other languages. Creativity isn’t just what I do—it’s how I live.
